Laser Office Furniture was born in 1988 shortly after I got married. For 9 years previously I had worked for Concept Business Systems on a commission only basis selling typewriters, office machines and furniture to companies in Central London after starting my career at Nat West Bank and Unigate Dairies in my earlier years.
After returning from my honeymoon I returned to work only to find that the receivers had been appointed to Concept Business Systems and I had to make some hasty career decisions. After a short spell with another company I decided that the only way I could offer the service and support my customers demanded was to set up my own Company and give it a go.
After the disappointment of working for a Company that grew too quickly with bad trading habits I developed an ethos to keep a firm hold of business decisions and make sure my suppliers were paid on time and that my customers were given that extra special service they deserved.
Thirty years later working with my wife Wendy we have managed to bring up two beautiful daughters and are still trading with a loyal customer database including many Blue Chip companies.
